What is the difference between a CoE and a Confirmation of Enrolment Letter?

AIH students may come across two documents that have similar names:

  • Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) – the official electronic CoE recorded in PRISMS.
  • Confirmation of Enrolment Letter – an official letter issued by AIH to confirm your current enrolment details.

Although both documents confirm information about your enrolment, they are different documents and are used for different purposes. 

1. What is a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)?

A Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is an official electronic document issued through the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS).

Your CoE contains important information about your course and enrolment, including your:

  • Course details
  • Course start and expected end dates
  • Enrolment information
  • Student details
  • CoE number

The CoE is primarily used for student visa and immigration-related purposes.

2. What is a Confirmation of Enrolment Letter?

A Confirmation of Enrolment Letter is an official letter issued by AIH to confirm that you are currently enrolled at AIH.

The letter will include the following information:

  • Your name, student ID, date of birth
  • Your course
  • Your course start and expected completion information, where applicable
  • Your enrolment details in current semester

This letter may be used when you need to provide evidence of your enrolment to an employer, another institution, organisation, or for other non-visa-related purposes. 

You can obtain your current Confirmation of Enrolment letter directly through the AIH Paradigm Student Portal:

  1. Log in to the AIH Paradigm Student Portal.
  2. Select Summary.
  3. Under Course Enrolments, select 'Actions'.
  4. Choose Print Confirmation of Enrolment to save the letter as a PDF.

The letter can be generated only when you are an active student with current enrolment in the Student Portal.
